oil around #4 sparkplug
changed spark plugs and found oil covering the # 4 plug also the car makes a metalic sound while running running 10-40 in it not sure what else to do I am hoping its not a bad valve.

forgot to add its a 98 sohc with 158,000 mls lightly raced

Your spark plug tube seals need to be changed. It’s an easy job and the seals can be bought from any auto parts store or the dealer. You will need to remove and replace your valve cover gasket as well.

Have you changed your lifters/followers out for the improved ones (OEM in the PT Cruisers). The originals in the Dohc Neon go bad whenever you do much high revving/racing.
