Need opinions

As you can read from my profile, I have a 92 si hatchback. I want som eopinions on what to do with my engine. Right now it has 117k miles on it and I want to get a turbo. Would it be more worth it to get a b16 and get a turbo for that? If so, how much do you think that would run for? By the way, the turboes would be th egreddy because that's the only street legal one in california ive heard.

b16a would be faster with the turbo. but it would cost more money that just turboing the stock motor. b16a probably cost you about 2500, b/c you have to get newer one to pass emissions. turbo kit greddy like 2700. 5000+ would be my guess.

do the swap....you'll be happier in the end with a better engine. More engine to work with...and if you just turboed your current engine...you'll have less room to build.

i see we have the same california problem

anyways, even though the kit is legal, it won't be after you swap your new b16 in. the turbo was make for the stock car, and i doubt you can pass visual inspection with the turbo'd swap. best bet is to get the swap, or turbo your stock engine.
