1990 C1500 2wd Steering Grease Boots/Fittings

I have almost 300,000 miles on my truck and was going to clean it up a bit. The steering system on my truck is old, but in good shape except for the grease boots on the tie rods ends and other grease fitting. They are busted and some are leaking. To replace the boots do I have to replace the whole part or are there separate boot replacements. I'm also going to replace the shocks. Can anyone suggest any name brands for both that they have used in the past and where I could get them? Thanks
