I know many will disagree but I personally find D90 too small. It's not unusual for me to fill-up the whole trunk space of the X plus the rack on long trips so I'd need a D110. On the other hand, the trucks looks like it's in great shape. With that mileage, the price seems a bit high though.

I'd wait for the 03' Wrangler Rubicon. I doubt it cost that much brand new!

Does buying it involve selling the Xterra?
I love D90's but keep in mind for that price you can buy alot Jeep Wrangler. Landrovers aren't known for their stellar reliability either. It sure would be cool though.... |

Yeah, it's a lot of $$$ to be able to take the roof down, but they are great offroad vehicles.
For that money I could buy a new one of these... ![]() |

Man, I'd love to have the 90, but for the money, to take the top down you will be able to buy an '03 Rubicon and add all the goodies.
But, it would be cool.................. |

Well, that's a heckuva lot cheaper than the '97 D90 (19,355 mi) I saw in the back of a recent Road & Track - $41,500. "All options from front sunroof and rear Safari roof, full roof rack, roll cage and brush guards to front road lamps, rear spot light, etc." 'Course, that's through a broker and not the owner.

Nice truck but I wouldnt put that kind of cash into it... Would you sell the X then??
I agree about the Rubicon, that is a nice rig. First time my intrest has peaked on a Wrangler. Of course you could put some of that money into your X for front and rear lockers etc and make it a lot better |

The D90 has alot going for it.
Check this out though.... This exact vehicle is currently for sale at the Jeep dealer in Auburn. A little over priced, but super cool! ![]() AEV Cherokee Africana Originally displayed by ARB in the 1999 SEMA Show, it won the prestigious Daimler Chrysler Award. It has been in various magazines and traveled to many shows. Very Little off road useage (Camp Jeep ’00 and a photo shoot in Moab) Most of the 43K miles are to and from shows. The most obvious modification is the rear cut away top. The roll bar is 2x4 .125 wall tubing fully gusseted and tied to the substructure, the C-pillars were widened 3” with 14ga steel to further reinforce the vehicle. Tail light integrated into roll bar, soft-top, MJ tailgate, custom rear quarters, and lots of other things. This car is torsionally stiff. Rides excellent. We built two chassis in 1999, this one, and one that Daimler Chrysler has. Factory Equipment: 1998 Cherokee Sport, PW, PL, PB, PS, Air Conditioning, Command Trac 4wd, 4.0L, Cassette, Automatic. Aftermarket Equipment: Rubicon Express 5.5” Extreme Duty lift, Dana 44, Dana 30, Air Lockers and 4.11 ratio front and rear, ARB Air Compressor, Front bullbar with Warn XD 9000 winch, ARB Roof Rack, IPF 900MSR lights, Recaro front seats, reupholstered rear seat, Webasto Electric Canvas Sliding Roof, ORGS Super Nerf Rocker Guards, Currie Tail Shaft Eliminator, CV Driveshaft, Safari Snorkel’s snorkel system, Tera Flex swaybar quick disconnects, Tera Flex Adjustable Trac Bar, Old Man Emu Extended Travel Shock Absorbers, AEV Rear Bumper with Receiver, AEV Wheels, AEV Tire Mount for Roof Rack, BFG 285-75R16 MT Tires (new), and of course the half roof conversion. $36,500.00 |
