spark plugs

Alright. I had some bosch spark plugs in my car. I didnt notice much of a difference. I went to the store and saw these G-Power plugs which were beside the bosch. Same price, only difference is that it doesnt have the ceramic around it. It is also platinum tipped. Anyways, i put them in my car and noticed a significant increase in acceleration. I was amazed. I didnt believe changing the spark plugs could actually give you a good increase. Is there something just wrong with my car? hehe

Re: spark plugs

i just looked them up on the net and you know what? they look exactly like the g-power ones i just bought.
Its weird. My car use to be average at acceleration. Today when i was driving, i floored it at a stop sign and i literally got to 70km/h and i just passed 2 (small) houses. I would normally only hit 60km/h. My brother just went out today to buy some for his car. Now i actually enjoy driving my car =)
heres a pic of the plug

Re: spark plugs

I work at Autozone and I have been told by a mechanic from one of our accounts not to suggest the Iridiums unless the car has extensive mods or turbo/sc. Also, I thought they were more for the Import scene vs Domestic cars. I'm only 19 and have a long ways to go, so I'm trying to find out

Re: spark plugs

i like my ngk. But stay away from anything bosch and stay further away from splitfire. They work really good for about 3 or 4 miles and then they go to shit and miss-fire like a bitch

Re: spark plugs

so those denso iridiums, that are for boosted cars, will using them on a naturally aspirated car be harmful??? or just pointless?
