attention : civic-crx owners with rims.
hey guys, on my car i have 17's(my rubber is 40 lowpros) and i am getting coilovers today, 1-4" drop... help me out with what exact drop to do on the front and back without the wheels rubbing the fenders ect. thanks guys, later, civyguy. haha..
p.s. i have folding the fenders or whatever it is, the baseball bat way so keep that in mind. |

There isn't a set amount that you need to lower your car. It depends on various factors, such as tire overall diameter, wheel offset, and maybe the shock bound and rebound. Since you have coilovers, it's gonna be a trial and error process. That's what I had to do. Plus you can't lower the car too much when you install the coilovers, cause the springs need a few days to settle.

no i think u might of took me wrong... there is a guy on here with a black 4th gen, with white 17s, he is on cardomain, he is painting his car orange?? he did exactly what i am doing... oh and by the way, to whoever this guy is, ur kinda my lil idol hehe, i saw ur car (i already wanted the 4th gen tho) and it made me want alot of things he had...
so ya, if someone can find out who this guy is, plz get his ass in here and get him to tell me how he did his hehe, well thanks later. |

I've got a three inch drop over 16's with 205/40/16. I had 205/50/16 but they rubbed.

i had a 4 inch drop on 17s with a 205/40/17 tires and they were fine
