E150 leaking gas
i have a ford e150 with 116,000 miles. i have noticed everytime i pump gas it starts to drip a lot from underneath the van, and when i stop pumping gas the drip stops. and it does not leak when i am driving, and i do not lose any gas. any ideas would be of geat help??

Sounds like the filler hose. I had to replace mine as it had a whole in it. I think there is a free fix from Ford though, so call the dealer, as there was a recall, something about a screw punching through the hose. I noticed mine had a smell of gas after parking, and it was sloshing out when I turned left. t

I had the same problem on my 1994 E150. I just uninstalled the gas filler hose and replaced it with a same diameter and length radiator hose from my local auto parts store. Same process as replacing a radiator hose. Easy fix!
