SI seats are going in..56k warning

Well after thinking I was going to have to modify my rails for the past few months, and allowing my seats to sit and collect dust..I finally found something useful, Seat pan swapping! Man where was this information when I was looking all over the net for it! Anyway, I got a wild hair up my ass at about 11:30 to do this..Ill prepared and half assed I continued to work on it untill 4am..the finished result..I got one seat in, and man..these babies are comfy! I almost fell asleep in it after I had finished..with much stiffer bolsters, and more lumbar arch in it..it really feels good. Cant wait to get the drivers side in..as you can see, my seats were not in the greatest condition..

Re: SI seats are going in..56k warning

So you swaped 88-89 SI seats with 88-89 dx seats and you had to swap the pans? I thought matching 88-89 seats was bolt in? I only thought you had to swap the rails for 90-91...someone correct me.

My car is a 91 DX, the seats are 91 SI. Maybe mine is just a black sheep but they didnt match at all.

I just went racing so my car and gear were all still in the car..and the stuff in front of the seat, yeah thats just clutter and crap from clearing around the seats to get em out. Shes due for new carpet, or at least a thourough cleaning.

Oh, and yeah..it was exactly 4 am when I finished..I didnt have the right tools with me (left em at the shop) so I was having a hell of a time getting the two bolts on the side off without a socket, I was also really tired and not pressed for time.
