swapping cruise controls

The wife wrecked our 1997 Lasabre LImited Custom last week.
I bought another 1997(Identical except powere options) but it does not have cruise or power seats like the one we had before she wrecked it.
There was no damage to the engine or transmission behind the radiator and I would like to take the cruise controls off of it and put it on the new car .
Also Id like to take the power seat and controls out of the wreck and install it in the new car.
My question is ,has anyone done these swaps before and how intense will it be.
Only trouble is the old car had blue interior and the new one is red.
Any ideas are appreciated.
