I'm trying to identify which tranny I have by utilizing my RPO listing, but am having a hard time finding the appropiate code which I believe is either FR9 which signifies final drive ratio of 3.29 or the FR3 which is a final drive ratio of 3.05.. I know someone knows so I'll wait.. Thanks

Re: 2002 3.5 Intrigue Tranny RPO
The GM RPO code for a 02 Intrigue 3.5L with 4T65E tranny is MN3. The FR/F codes are the differential final drive ratios not the RPO code for the complete transaxle.

Re: 2002 3.5 Intrigue Tranny RPO
Im sorry, I really should slow down when reading posts.
Yes as Bnaylor said you do have the 4t65-e transmission, and your final drive ratio has a different RPO code than the transmission. You can also find the GM Master list of RPO codes here http://www.drzero.org/GMC/GM%20RPO%20Master%20List.pdf If for some reason that link does not work, I have a copy on my PC and can upload it for you to use. Its kind of neat to see all the features your car has. |
