Anyone having problems with their Speedo?

My speedometer stopped working as well as the odometer. I swapped clusters thinking it was just a bad cluster, that didn't work. I then checked all connections and wiring to ensure power and good contact. It turns out the VSS was bad (didn't throw a code either)! I bought a new sensor from O'Reillys Auto for $23.99, but the stock connector to the sensor would not fit the aftermarket sensor. But it does come with one that does, only you have to cut the stock wiring and splice in the wires. After that, all was good. So if you don't wanna spend the extra $20 or so and get one from the dealer, that's what you will have to do.

I also replaced the clockspring on my car, because the horn would not work, due to the broken clockspring. Anyone want a how-to on that?

The gear was fine, it was a bad sensor.
