removal of a hydraulic clutch line for an F-150?
I have in my possession right now a 1988 ford f-150 that I am fixing for a friend. The clutch line somehow brushed up against the manifold and melted a hole in it. I am wondering how the hydraulic line detaches from the clutch resevoir located under the hood.................if anyone has an idea please reply because i toyed with it for awhile and can't figure it out. Thanx

Re: removal of a hydraulic clutch line for an F-150?
It is held in by a roll pin.You need to use a roll pin punch to get the roll pin out.Bleeding the slave cylinder is the pita part. You will need a buddy to help bleeding by pushing on the clutch pedal.
