1999 Windstar Auto Sliding Door

I have a 1999 Windstar LX with dual automatic sliding doors. Driver side sliding door will intermittenly open fine but won't close. I try to manually pull the door and it kicks back to the full open position. Pressing the button to close the door I can hear a "click" from the sliding door motor area. Any ideas or experience with this problem would be helpful.

I have the the same problem (see above) as you except mine is the passenger side door. Let me know if you find out anything. My symptoms are exactly the same as yours.
