Selling my Z

Ok, this is horrible, I just found rust under a major support of the unibody.

Ive decided to sell my car...

How much do you think I could get for:

1985 Nissan 300zx N/A
Automatic
New steering rack, power antenna
AC, leather interior, power everything (including drivers seat), cruise
Body rust (everything but the rust and some small paint chips in the front is in excellent condition)

Pics:

KBB says with the unibody being damaged... $3700...

Re: Selling my Z

3,700?? Hahahahaha, I laugh in your general direction... no seriously I do . With the frame being damaged you really can't sell the car for that much... how many miles are on the car anyways???

I'd think that with unibody damage you should go a lil' lower in price like 2800 and start from there.

Re: Selling my Z

I don't know much about Z31 prices but I must say that painting the intake cover really helped, looks sharp.

Re: Selling my Z

Holy crap! 3.5 hours to sand the intake cover???? Ever heard of a Dremel tool? Is the black paint even made for high temperatures, or will it peel off the first time you run the car down the highway? A pretty clean-looking car otherwise, except for the rust you pointed out.

Re: Selling my Z

Don't think it's worth that much man... It's a nice car, no doubt, but with frame damage? I don't know... If you can get that much, do it.
