Help - 03 Odyssee - Rapid clicking sound when I try to start.
I was trying to jump start my Odyssey the other day after accidently draining the battery for the umpteenth time. However this time when I turned the key, the engine sounded like it was trying to crank but then it was immediately followed by this rapid clicking sound that came from the vicinity of the engine. While hooked up to the other car all the lights came on and everything looked normal except when I tried to crank it up it always made the rapid clicking sound. Can someone point me in the right direction. Also part of me thinks this might have something to do with the alarm. Is there a fuse I can take out to disable the alarm to test. I'm also guessing my battery is shot but shouldn't it be able to still start while it was hooked up to the other car? Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction and I can save a couple bucks. Thanks.
