Power windows comming off track

I keep having problems with the front power windows comming off track when lowering them...Is this common? What can I do to fix this?

heh my 96 buick century used to do the same problem on the drivers side window before the window motor burnd up and i just havent bothered spending the money for a new one yet... most likely caused by either the track and/or little metal clip piece that is attached to the back of the windows that hold it into the track are probably worn out. just a thought though...

Question Re: Power windows comming off track

My drivers side window has the same problem...it takes both hands just to get it to roll up properly, otherwise it leaks.

Think the fact that my driver's side power UNLOCK doesn't work has something to do with it ? (I can lock from my side, just not unlock).
