Brakes on my 91 Hatch..
Good day.. I bought my little brother a 91 Honda Civic Hatchback some time ago and it has been a fantastic car, I wouldnt mind owning one myself, But as of late I have been having a problem with his brakes, you can drive the car and when you apply the brake it goes pretty much to the floor, but after you pump it one time it has great brakes, I have replaced the rear shoes and adjusted them up, I have replaced the front pads, I have bleed the system, but nothing seems to help much..I was wondering what you guys thought I should replace/check next? the Master cylinder? booster? I hope someone has some insight as I hate him driving around with the brakes at less than 100% thank you for any information or ideals.

Re: Brakes on my 91 Hatch..
your master cylinder is definately shot provided you really bled the brakes right...a little hint: buy a new OEM honda master...I've had problems with the cheapy crap you buy from discount places
