03' Impala LS Radio
I have been searching all over the net trying to find a forum or post somewhere telling me how hard it is to install an aftermarket amp and Subwoofers in my 03. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 03' Impala LS Radio
Wow no love huh? Come on I know there are people out there that have done this. I have gone to ImpalaHQ already and I just wanna know if I need a line out for the RCA's, or if there is another way to hook this up. I only want the aftermarket amp to run my Subs. I will keep the factory amp hooked up to the speakers. I have read the posts about using the White "enable" wire from the factory amp to run the remote wire, I figure I will just splice into this wire, and that way both amps retain power. If I am way off on this please let me know I don't want to mess up my new ride, I just wanna have some BOOM!!!

Re: 03' Impala LS Radio
I've seen posts on this subject but don't recall where exactly, might want to do a search in this forum on radio. Another forum you may want to try is http://www.the12volt.com this site has quite a bit on all electronic devices and installs for all vehicles and has been helpful to me in the past.

Re: 03' Impala LS Radio
Thanks for the info. I checked out that site it helped a bit, but I still can't believe I can't find out for sure if I need to use a line out and tap into the white wire on the factory amp. I guess I'll keep looking and when I figure it out I will post a step-by-step How To... Thanks again for the help and if any one else has any ideas feel free to share them.

Re: 03' Impala LS Radio
You could also try calling Crutchfield. They may want to sell you something, but they may also have some good input.
