96 Neon Start Problem
I believe the starter is gone on my 96 sohc neon again. Can someone tell me how I can jump the solenoid to see if it is the problem. Changing the starter on these cars is a pain... I used to jump the solenoid on my old ford truck and it was easy but on these--I dont know. Anybody

Re: 96 Neon Start Problem
There is a clip on the top of the starter with one wire attached to it , if you short that to the posative it should turn your starter over. and on a side note , i found that if you just remove the fan on the right side of your rad , facing the engine its not so bad to re and re your starter , i had to do it a few times when my new one failed after one day , and i had it down to about 30 mins to change out.

Re: 96 Neon Start Problem
The car was just clicking when I try to start it. I found out that it was a loose cabel. It was the smaller red cable that connects together on the positive side of the battery. Working now.
