Blower stuck on

My climate control blower is stuck on. I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder with the auto climate control. After returning home with the A\C on, I pressed the off button but the blower remained on. It will switch off when I turn off the ignition. But with the ignition on, I can no longer change the blower speed (increase or decrease) or turn it off. Everything else seems to be working fine...

I just had to have a sensor replaced on the car last week for $400, so I'd love to be able to fix this myself.

Any suggestions (the more detail the better) would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Mike.

Re: Blower stuck on

From what I've been seeing, the blower amplifier unit under the dash is what's causing those problems. The climate control systems on the newer Pathfinders are tragically failure-prone, apparently.
