93 Lumina APV cruise and AC problem
Hi I have a 93 Chevy Lumina APV. It's a vacation home car in Florida. (so I need the ac) The air conditioning works but it only blows out of the panel vents when it wants to. It either blows out the floor or the defrost. When I press the selector button for the panel vents it's a gamble. Sometimes it works sometimes it dosent. At times I shut the car off, wait 20 mins then start the car & it does blow out the panel and the selector switches fine. I recently noticed that when the AC does not blow out the panel vents the cruise control does not work but when it does blow out the panel the cruise works fine. Very anoying. Not sure if it's a vacuume problem or a wiring problem. Any info will be greatly apriciated.
Thanks Frank |

I Found It!!!
After a couple of hours of tracing vacuume lines
I finnally found the problem. Vac fitting on the back of the throttle body had a pretty good crack in it. Replaced the 2 inch long hose & bingo. 2 hours to find it and 2 minutes to fix it. The car even runs better now. Thanks guys |
