Ok, The blower on my 98 Aurora went out. or at least i think it did.
If I turn the controls to the on position but it wont shoot any air (hot or cold) But I know the AC & Heater are working. Now My questions is how can I replace the Blower motor & where is it located. Any help or comments are very welcome Thanks, Luis |

Re: Blower wont start?? ne help!
If you have no voltage at the blower motor, the most likely culprit is the blower control module. They tend to go out without any warning...

Re: Blower wont start?? ne help!
They are on the right side of the dash behind the glove box area. Remove the right close out panel (2 7mm head screws), stick your head under the dash, and look up...

Lots of Auroras in junk yards now. The insurance co are totalling them so there are plenty. Great place to find expensive parts at low price.

Re: Blower wont start?? ne help!
heres a tip ..when you get that cover above the passenger side foot area off you will see the blower motor..with the blower turned on full grab the bottom of the motor and feel around for 2 small rubber spots and give them a sqeeze the motor may begin to work again when you monkey around with the field...it saved mine and continues to work although it somtimes needs a jolt to get it going again

Re: Blower wont start?? ne help!
Sounds like the blower motor is frozen up. The shroud that the blower motor mounts to, the area gets water in there. It messes up the motor. Look for a drain plug which gets plugged every year. Clean out the drain line and see if helps.
