Which Car I Worth More

Ok, I have found two cars locally, first is a 1979 Trans-Am, the other is a 1968 Catalina. I want to know which one you folks think I should buy, and also what you think they're worth.

1979 Pontiac Trans Am:

Drivetrain:
1972 Oldmobile 455 with too many chrome accents to list.
TH-400 Tranmission
12-Bolt Posi Rear End
Cragar Wheels

Exterior:
Red BC/CC
Junk Shaker Hood w/ T/A Bird
Large dent in roof where original hood flew up and hit
Crappy looking non-original sun-roof
4"x3" Rust hole behind drivers door
Obvious filler work on left rear quarter
Rust holes in inner wheel wells
Rust rear subframe rails(not through)
Nice solid trunk floor and floor pans.

Interior:
Black Vynil/Cloth Seats, no rips or tears
Black carpet
Console Shifter
Black dash cover held on with 2 sided tape(signs of damage underneath)
Swirled aluminum guage cluster trim(aftermarket or stock?)

Comes With:
Original chrome exhaust tips
Several parts catalogs for aftermarket(Bleh) parts

Doesn't Come With:
The dumbass who almost wrecked it trying to Duke around a corner during a test drive

1968 Catalina:

Drivetrain:
Original 1-bbl 400cid
TH-350 Transmission

Exterior:
What I suspect is the original blue paint
All chrome trim
Original rims and caps
Rust on both fenders under trim peices
Rust starting on both bumpers
2 evenly spaced dents on front bumper (one on top and one below Pontiac emblem
Shallow crease running from front to back of RH fender
Pinholes in trunk floor, floor pan solid.
Frame rails surface rusted.

Interior:
All original
Nice bench seat
Nice blue carpet
Headliner falling down
Rear window seal leaks
Minor cracking on dash
Rest of dash and guage cluster very nice

Comes With:
Keys
Wish of "Good Luck" from previous owner

Re: Which Car I Worth More

Im going to have to agree that the Trans-Am seems better from the description, but needs some body work. The Catalina has a good motor, but how many miles are on these motors? Have either been built recently? By who? The solid floor pans in the bird is a big plus. The outer body work is fairly easy compared to having to cut out and weld in new floor pans. The roof dent might be a bit of a pain, but it depends on where the creases are. Any chance of pics? Also, yea, what are the asking prices?
