Replacing Steering Rack / Q: about Airbag SRS
I need to replace the rack on my 1991 318I. The Chilton manual tells me to disarm the aurbag and remove the steering wheel. This makes sense to me. What tool do I need to remove the SRS? Is it a hex key/allan key?
Had anyone ever replaced a rack on this model? Any tips you could give me? -Michael.
