You might try asking around a Subaru forum.

Studio 27 made an upgrade set which has engine parts. I'm afraid no one has it in stock anymore.

Re: Scooby Impreza WRC engine reference pics needed.

I remember someone (on this forum) building a detailed "open" version of the Subaru Impreza WRC 2001.

The pictures in that thread are lost, but you can see them on the website of the builder.

His website.

Engine pictures and more.

Re: Scooby Impreza WRC engine reference pics needed.

Thanks very much people. Some of those pictures are perfect and show exactly what I am looking for. I am planning on making a fully open car (maybe not the boot/trunk). I have the Studio 27 engine kit and the Renaissance open doors kit. I may potentially do a garage scene with Tamiya's mechanic figure set, but I'll decide that when I get stuck into the project.

Hi,

I also made this 3 or so years ago, however I don't have the ref pics anymore.

You can find a write up with pics on this board:-

and

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=108257

No real issues, all goes together great. Probably the most enjoyable model I have built.

Richie

Excellent work Richie. Never thought of using it for the RAC version.
