Rotor/drum removal (E-brake shoe disengage) '01 Montero
'01 Montero rotor/drum removal (E-brake shoe disengage)
I have an ’01 Montero and I need to remove the rear drum/rotors however I don’t know how to disengage the E-brake shoes so that I can remove the rear drums. I already tried the BFH method with no success... Any help would be appreciated... rakes from an '01

Re: Rotor/drum removal (E-brake shoe disengage) '01 Montero
It's probably the same setup as in my 90 Montero. I'll try to remember to post up a pic of the proceedure when I get home this evening feel free to remind me tomorrow via a PM if I forget.
