HEMI serial number question
I found a 330 or a 331 HEMI in my neighbors yard and he doesn't really know what it is ( poor bastard) so i may can buy it from him for nuthin but i need some info on it. If any one knows how to decode engines or anything please email me. the serial number or number i found on it is
S25-22942. Again if anyone has any info that would be most helpful. My neighbor said he has had it sittin outside for years (sad day) so it's got a little surface rust but still i know the block and prolly the heads are salvagable. ~THANKS |

Re: HEMI serial number question
That doesn't look like a casting number. Look around the bottom of the engine above the oil pan on the actual block for the casting number. Doesn't sound like a hemi though. You can check this website when you find it....

Re: HEMI serial number question
Presently diriving a 55 New Yorker hemi 331, plus I have all the books, get the casting number or the number on the front of the block just in front of the intake manifold.

Re: HEMI serial number question
Well, as this thread is more than 2 and a half years old, that old Hemi is either long gone or the neighbour's wife has planted petunias in it.
Please do not resurrect old threads. It is often pointless and annoying to other members. Thread closed. |
