'97 C1500 Electrical Problems

I've had problems since 1997 with various electrical based problems, but one that drives me crazy is the fan light stays on even when it's off (where the recirculate button is at). You can switch it on and off and finally get it to go off. I recently replaced the altenator and had hoped it may clear up these little annoying things. BUt it did not.

Anyone run across this nagging problem and have a solution, short of rewire?

The switch is your problem, 12 vdc circuits has to have ground in which to complete its circuit (to light up) if the switch is going to get its ground someplace, its going to be in that circuit, useing a 12v dc test meter will tell you whats happening when you test it.
