|
clutch problem
I accidently pressed the clutch with the bleeder valve opened, and now the when i press the clutch it when go into gear, unless I pump it twice, but was i pull my foot off, it won't go into gear unless I again pump it twice. Tryed bleeding it for air but I don't know how many more times to bleed it?Can anybody help?

How did you bleed it? I'll go over bleeding it real quick incase you missed something. Attach a small hose (clear if possible) to the bleeder screw have someone pump the pedal 10-20 times then have them hold the pedal to the floor and you loosen the bleeder. Air bubbles can be seen easier in the clear tube. Tighten the screw before the person in the car pulls the pedal up. Repeat until no air comes out then do it a few more times to be sure. After each time check the clutch fluid resevoir to make sure it doesn't drain or else you're back to square one.
