Umm... i thought of slamming it too... but too much mod is needed.
I always wanted to make my models look customed... but most of the time, it takes too much effort, so what I normally do is play arnd with the colors but still build stock frm box.. heheh. Tamiya makes this kit, and it's a pretty good one with workin suspension!!

Small question: I've always seen wood trim on the interior of your models. Is that a custom job or is it decals that come with the kit?

daggerlee, I don't think all tamiya SUVs come with working suspension. I'm sure that the Land Cruiser and Mitsubishi pajero comes with working suspension though

Thks for the time and comments..
I brush painted everything except the exterior. At times when possible, I use the Tamiya paint markers. Umm... i m not sure if all SUV come with workin suspension... but I heard from my pals that Pajero comes with it too.. ![]() The woodgrain are decals included in the kit. I do find it abit "fakė looking"... Any1 has any idea to make realistic woodgrains??

Maybe you can get some really soft balsa wood and then cut out the needed shape, then stain it with that wood stuff?
