Brake light is on
I had new brakes installed after my rear brakes went and the ABS light would stay lit. I picked up the car this morning and the ABS light and the BRAKE! light remain lit. The car still brakes but I've noticed that the brake pedal must be pressed down further than I'm used to. The guy at the counter told me the brake light will reset and go out after driving 50 or 60 miles ... is this true? I thought it sounded kind of stupid. If the light is still on after the weekend I will have to take the car back >:O
BTW, I have a 2000 Focus ZTS. |

Re: Brake light is on
sounds like they didnt bleed the brakes right, take it back and demand it be fixed.
