HELP!!!! Bad smell
Hello, I own a 99 Z24, today when driving my car started acting wierd. It never made an sounds but it started to smell, then my transmission started acting wierd it wanted just to stop, it jerked around alot like a bad start, some guy about 300 feet back said he could see smoke coming out. I checked my clutch fluid, brake fluid, and all the other fluids and there all good. Drove it a little bit more and the jerking has stopped for now, but the smell is still there, it smells like the clutch is burning VERY bad. My question is what can i check to see what is wrong, and what can i do to prevent this from getting any worse?
Thanks in Advance

Re: HELP!!!! Bad smell
make sure your clutch plating is not rubbing against anything or is grabbing fully when you change gears... i never had any problems like that but ive had bad clutches that dont grab fully and start to smell or smoke...

Re: HELP!!!! Bad smell
Check your brakes also, you may have a caliper in the front, or a shoe in the rear thats stuck.
Jack the car up and see if you can spin the wheels freely (Tranny in Neutral to check the front, no parking brake applied to check the rear)
