bow-tie vortec vs. regular vortec
i recently became aware that gm produces a bow-tie version of their vortec head that is supposed to be better than the regular vortec. it has slightly larger valves and 65cc. chambers vs. the regular vortec's 64 cc. chambers. also, the small port version of the bow tie one has 175 cc intake versus the regular one with 170... do you guys think its worth the extra 2 or 3 hundred bucks? i havent seen many articles out there about this newer head so i dont know if its pretty new to the market or what. anyone here have any ideas?
