Stalling

I have an 85 olds cutlass sierra.

Recently it needed to be floored to keep it idling or give it power and it alittle better once it was very warm.. I put in a new choke pulloff on the carburator and it now as more power from the cold start. Alittle gas and it is more responsive except now it doesnt idle once warm or cold when n PARK or neutral. it will stall if i take my foot off the gas...

What are some reasons why it is doing this? that i can check or replace.

So far i ve put in new sparkplugs , airfilter, and sparkplug/distributor cables and it still stalls when i let go of the gas pedal..

Any idea would be great

Thanks
Kevin
