Honest opinion guys.. 330Ci vs Audi S4...

Okay, here's how it works out for me.. I love BMWs. Ever since I drove my cousin's M3.. I have been in love.

For next year, I'm looking at the BMW 330Ci, and have been for a little while. However, my friend recently got an A4, and I have to admit... the interior is nicer than the BMWs, though the BMW does have its own style.

The 330Ci, after just web-estimates on a lease would run, with $3000 down is running at $591, while the Audi S4 runs at $575. That's not a big deal.

I'm going to ask the honest question, is it worth it? I don't know what the S4 is like, but being that it's the M3 rival car, I would imagine that it's pretty damn good. Better than the 330? I don't know!

Insurance also plays a part in this, so if anybody has an idea of the discrepency between the cars, I'd really appreciate it! I am trying to get good ideas, because a performance sedan from Audi, with a nice 6 speed shifter, good power, and what I would imagine a well-handling automobile runs the same price as a car that handles well, without that power or interior panache..

I don't know, I'm very confused here. Help me out, and try to be honest I am a BMW lover too ya know.

Also, anybody know if there will be a price change next year for the Audi S4 (being that it will be a larger engine and all..)? If so, how much more is it going to run?

Thanks very much everybody!

Difficult question to answer. I am a BMW lover, but did consider an A4 before buying my current BMW. Must admit that it was hard to switch and I am very glad I did not.

however, I can say a few things that might help. A good friend has a 2000 S4 and loves it. It is a great handling car and he loves the quattro feature. However, you need to consider the fact that the S4 will change next year. They will add a new 340hp V8 and rumors say they will add significant body "enhancements" to the current A4.

Not sure this helps, but you may want to make sure you are not comparing against the current S4. Personally, I hate what Audi did to the new A4 styling so I am not too hopefull for the new S4.

bye

Thumbs up BMW

I say thumbs up to the M3 or 330CI. Best car there is. I say go for the BMW and you will be happy and for the Audi if you don't know to much about the car stick with the BMW. But if you ar looking for speed in the car of course Audi has more.
I'm a BMW Lover and I own a 330I but I use my car to cruise and to look good. I'm not in it for speed.
