2.2eco / 2.4 / quad4? Which would you choose and why?

Between these 3 engines, which would you personally want and why? What mods would you do and what are the general hp differences between the 3?

I've got a 2,2 ecotec and love it. 150 hp stock. and 36 MPG when I drive like a granny (even if I floor it a few times.) motor is extremely simple, and most everything is easy to get to to replace.

Re: 2.2eco / 2.4 / quad4? Which would you choose and why?

I'd choose the 2.4l twincam. The bottom end isn't overly strong stock but if you have deep enough pockets and the time they can be able to withstand in excess of 300whp.

As for mods I'm completely rebuilding my spare 2.4l so it can handle a minimum of a 10psi turbo. putting in performance cams and a larger throttle body, that's all I'll need so then I can focus on body mods.

i would have to say 2.2l eco. i have a 2.3, and know people with 2.4's. they just arent as reliable as the eco, and easier to find performance parts for (and for my 2.3, performance parts are almost non-existant)
