Nitrous... help!
Ok, so this guy that I may be buying the cams from also has a 4 port nitrous system with 75 shot jets, solenoids, lines, an nozzles for $150. What else would I need? Just a bottle right? Bigger injectors to compensate for fuel? What would be good mods to support it? SS valves right? Would the stock pistons take it? If any one can shed some light on the whole nitrous thing, I'd appreciate it, its on thing I dont know much about.

Re: Nitrous... help!
This is what I think about nitrous
If you're really serious about running it pretty often, then replacing valves and pistons are a must and you might as well just go with a full build then. It's a direct port system right? |

Re: Nitrous... help!
Yup. I for sure wouldnt use it often, just at the track and the occasional run on the street (but for sure never on pump gas). I wouldnt actually finish out the kit and put it in until I get farther down the line (FMIC, 255, fpr, bigger injectors, exhaust, DSMlink) but its sure cheap enough. Are new pistons/valves necessary for occasional track use?

Re: Nitrous... help!
I wouldn't say they are necessary, but I would definitely want them, especially for use at the track when you'll be running the car hard the way it is, and then adding nitrous on top of that.
