Well a v8 conversion is fairly cheap and easy plus there is so much more potential with a v8. Btw you have a posi/locker rear?

Re: 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times

yes i have a posi rear but i am looking for times on v8 and v6 trucks and would like to know gas milage as well if posible btw i am getting 18 cuty and 25 hwy w the 4.3 non vortec and running 10.5 in the 1/8 so if you have times to post lets see them I already have the stuff to do the v8 swap but I want a v 8 s10 blazer as well so I am trying to decide which one first and if I am doing it at all if a v8 fi gets 17city 27hwy like in my camaro in a s10 then I am all for it if it runs faster than 10.5 but I have gotten a 9.1 out of my camaro and get the good mileage I am looking to do the same with a small blazer and truck

Re: 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times

I would love to see some times and mileage I am looking to do a tbi 350 pretty much stock maybe a cam and chip with the nv3500 5speed that is in it now and the 3.42 gears that are in it now I am looking for a 2 door blazer to door as well but I want a 86-93 2wd to start don't care about motor or tranny as long as it will make it on a trailer I have a 305 and a rebuilt 700r4 with a strong shift kit and stall to go in it and a 3.73 limited slip rear end that came out of my old camaro that someone decided to drive thru so I got to make the best out of it but as for the s 10 a 5 speed 350 should get good mileage and fast times but lets see the time and what you guys have to help me make a decision because I want to keep it streetable as a daily driver
