Insane Mod List!!!!!

Hey...this is my final mod list for my 96 clipse gst...
Any problems anyone can see or suggestions?

* TEIN SS (supper street) Coilovers
* WALBRO 255lph HP in-tank fuel pump
* NX Nitrous Express dual stage EFI system

* Complete Blowthrough Kit (MAF Translator, GM MAF)
* Air intake (4” air intake and 4” turbo intake)
* Megan Racing Fuel pressure regulator
(INTERNALS ON OTHER LIST....but pretty much 2g pistons and rods...)

You will need to build the internals to handle that kind of power, the coilovers are way overkill unless you are a pro road course racer, you could get the same results for about half the price if you werent so insistant on certain brands, and I dont think you know what you are talking about on the intake deal. 4" air intake and 4" turbo intake?

Owning a DSM isn't about name brands. It's about how much money you can save, so you can use that money to fix broken parts (but even then we usually resort to duct tape)

With all that money, I actually would save up to repair broken parts. It seems like you want a lot of power, but with all that power (if you even get there), something will break. Really though, what the hell is this car going to be used for? It almost sounds like you're going to blow your money on all these parts for bragging rights, and I find that extremely pointless.. unless you can prove me wrong. You remind me of me and my friends when we were younger and we said we'd get this and that. It was called dreaming lol. Most of them never did what they said they would get, but I got my Eclipse and I'm happy.

Wanta know the truth...When I first got my eclipse, my buddy told me he would race me for $10k. He has a heavily modded Z06.....plus ive been saving up for performance parts for my old RIP supra TT...So I have money for the mods. And I have a buddy who owns a DSM garage here in Montreal. So I get repairs cheap.

You're "buddy" just forked over $10,000? ..because you beat his Z06? ..with your Eclipse? If you were going head to head with a Z06, you'd probably need all those mods you've listed haha. Come on now. A $10,000 race seems a bit.. fake. Was it a drag or a time trial? How much horsepower is your Eclipse putting out? E/T times? Did you have an aluminum spoiler and some NOS? It was NOS wasn't it. haha.

Sorry man...but you gotta read my posts carefully...mod list...(to be) I dont have the 10k to give to him (ontop of the $$ going towards my mods)...but I dont plan on losing...trying to hit roughly 500-550hp for now...
This mod list is to be bought as soon as it is finalized.

Stock 2g pistons and rods will break just LOOKING at that turbo. Also, since your are FWD better plan on a damn good set of slicks and a LSD. A built tranny will probably be needed as well. Cams and SMIM are also very good ideas. You'll also want a metal head gasket and ARP head studs.

Do you realize that list is like 20 grand? Believe me homeboy, you could build the same car for a LOT less. A 3000gt caliper/Cobra rotor combo will cost you like/less than a quarter of the Rotora combo. Sportlines/AGX's will do you fine and only be like $500 compared to the many thousand dollar Tien coilovers. DC sports strut bars is completely rediculous, 90% of the price tag is for the name. Same with the other Greddy shit, other brands will do just as well for much less.

Just stop putting up this front. You do not have 20 grand to waste on these parts. If you really did, you'd realize how much more you could do for the same amount of money by avoiding this overpriced brand name kits.

You don't have 10 grand, but it sounds like your mods are going to cost that if you go by name brands. It's what everyone else has been saying. Why do you need name brands to make 500 hp? What is your budget?

If you're going to buy it, go ahead. Hope you know what you're doing..

Like EVERYONE else says, you could save over half of what you're spending if you just shopped around a bit. And I don't believe a word you say either and I won't believe anyone until they can prove it. Do you know how many fuckheads come around here and try to tell us their mod list and then brag themselves up and never show up again? A LOT! We don't care what you run, ran, or are going to run unless you have something good to say about it. If you had all that money to spend on just performance parts alone, I can almost assure that you wouldn't be screwing around with an Eclipse and you'd be driving something alot nicer. Yes gthompson97, you caught me red handed...I was trying to be cool...I know that I dont have that kind of money so i posted questions about my mod list every step of the way from part A-Z just to try and be cool on the internet...wow man...some people are just born bitter I guess...

OH btw...the brands were just highlighted for my sake...that list was on word and I changed brands so many times that I had a Huge jumbled list...just didnt feel like decapitalizing them...didnt think some people were pissed of by such stupid things...

AND...you know Jean Chretien...the ex priminister of canada...well this guy with the Z06 is is his grandson...his family is the 3rd richest in canada! So he has the cash...never said I had it...pfff...

No. See, some of us are on here daily and see tons of people just like you, badasses that tell us their mod list and then leave, if you aren't one of those then please, prove me wrong. Do you think we give a fuck what your mod list is? If you have questions on specific parts, then ask us, otherwise don't go telling us your whole mod list without first telling us about you or maybe something interesting. have you ever seen me on here before? I have been posting questions about my mod list for about 9 months now....I stareted with nothing and you guys helped me build a list...All I wanted to know was if this list would work well together...thats all....we dont need someone to freak out and start yelling at people who they dont know anything about their last posts...

He has a right to be bitter. Theres newbies in here all the time without a damn clue what they are talking about saying they have like $10,000 in parts coming. Anyone else remember that one guy that I had an arguement with? Had a $7000 SBR order coming in and he was going to post pictures of it to prove it? Did we ever hear from him again? No. Its easy for anyone to just pick up a Import Tuner and look at someone elses mod list and say that they want that too. This isnt the first list you've put up and you didnt listen to jack shit we said then either. Seriously, go tabulate all that shit you are getting. For 550 hp its going to be a SHIT ton of money to spend, and he is also right on the fact that if you really had that kind of money, you wouldnt have a 96 GST.
