just when you think it couldn't have any more problems..

so i drove my lumina from madison wi to IA this weekend. a 5 hour driveish, should've been fine but nooo. my turn signal broke again. my left one flashes really really fast when it's on and when it isn't off the light stays on, but not flashing and is dimmed by like 50%. and then randomly my lights would turn off for a little bit, the come back. any ideas what's wrong with it/how to fix it?

What you are describing is called ground loop feedback. It usually happens when there is water in a socket or chafed wiring that is completing a circuit when it shouldn't be.

Drive through any water?

4 1/2 hours of pouring, nonstop rain. so it was just a one time problem cuz of all the water?

Could be, if a lens got fulla water. Might wanna look and be sure all the sockets are seated in the lens assemblies, and there's no missing foam gasket or cracked lens or something that'll let water in.

Is it still doing it, or did it take care of itself?

I agree with Jeff, it's most likely a ground feedback loop caused by moisture.
