Is there anybody who may know why my DRL's are not working?
The fuse is ok is there a relay located anywhere?

There should be a large diode that is located under the middle of the dash.Above the transmission hump at the bottom of the lower dash support. It should be large with cooling fins on it.There are two connections. One side is power in and the other will be power out.If one side has power and the opposite side of the diode has no power coming out, then the diode has failed.

HI. I TOOK OUT MY DIODE SINCE MY DRL's ARE NOT WORKING EITHER ON MY '99 SUBURBAN. CHECKED IT, IT'S WORKING. ANYTHING ELSE WE ARE NOT LOOKING AT?
DASH DRL INDICATOR IS WORKING: TURNS OFF WHEN PARKING BRAKE IS SET, TURNS OFF WHEN MAIN HEADLAMP SWITCH IS ENGAGED. FUSE (#15) IS FINE. HOWEVER NOTICED THAT IT DOES NOT TURN OFF WHEN FUSE IS PULLED.

Geez....I wish mine would quit! I would like the freedom of choice for DRL's. Nice that your headlights go on and suck power while you're trying to start your engine. I know you can turn them off with the parking brake....but that doesn't help when I'm trying not to illuminate my neighbors windows while backing in the driveway!

Something to check. The power lead that feeds the diode under the dash could get a relay installed to give you control of the DRL.You could test this power lead with headlights off, ignition on,park brake on and see if there is power. Then check with ignition on,headlites on and check for power.Installing the relay may still leave the DRL indicating light on,but you won't be illuminating your neighbours windows.I think it's worth checking.
