mega squirt vs. Safc-II

i was looking on ebay and found that both of these are about the same price .. is one harder to use than the other.. i was also wondering if they both did about the same thing? from what i have gathered megasquirt does more than the Safc.. am i worng? im just looking into getting one of these.. i don't know alot about tunning fuel or anything yet but theres only one good way to learn! just trying to get as much performane out of the 'ol 420a as i can without pulling the engine and replacing crap in there.. any info about these products would be great !! thanks

Re: mega squirt vs. Safc-II

I know david put a safc in his car (I think it was an safc anyways) but I'm not sure if he tuned it or anything yet or has seen any real performance gains out of it.

In a NT, fuel management is pointless... I wouldnt waste your money. However, I would suggest megasquirt. I dont know much about safc, and I really dont know anything (except its a homemade standalone) about megasquirt.

Re: mega squirt vs. Safc-II

afc would be the way to go on a nt considering you probably wont use injectors over 680s ever, megasquirt is overkill imo considering its a full standalone

I agree with pr...tuning on a nt isn't quite as complicated so you wouldn't need the full megasquirt, but the afc should do you fine.
