I think too many ppl have been dissen the rotary motor for some reason(s) like seals an reliability etc... that some ppl might ask that Q. or worry about problems.
Thing is, there are piston engine's that have problems to. It happens. Just take care of your engine's/cars an they might just last a long time. Short history of RX7 problems that me an a freind have had within the past few years. My RX7, 89gtu after rebuild: #1. Alternator belt broke. <because I didn't have the proper tension on it, plus it was a crapy belt. #2. Fuel leak. <because of an improperly tightened fuel hose clamp.(it was loose). My freinds cars. '88 RX7 se: (note: this car is his "beater" he got it for $300 an all he did was put new belts on it changed fluids ect... and it still runs, he got it a few years ago.) #1. No start. <because bad connections at the starter motor. #2. I think he might have had a fuel leak to. <because of a old hose. His '90 RX7 gxl: #1.Had to replace radiator <It was leaking. His '88 RX7 turbo: #1. No start. <because of a blown fuse. Also, he's flooded(the engine) these cars a few times. Thats my thoughts on that. Later
