Never Fear, Rich is here!
![]() |
Im sure at one point or another, most of you have had something stuck in your head. Usuially its a catchy tune, and it can be kinda cool at first but it quickly gets annoying. Especially when you start whistling it in the supermarket, or the mall.
![]() Well, that rarely happens for me, but I get something else. I get images practically burned into my head. Everytime I try to think of something, I see the image first. It goes away after a while, but its annoying. Anybody else get wierd stuff stuck in there head?

I know exactly what you mean.
At my job I type a lot....and I mean A LOT!!! Later when I go home I catch myself reading articles or talking to people...and inside my head my fingers are moving on a keyboard typing the words... IT DRIVES ME NUTS!!!!!!! :bonghitte

It is a common ailment in my line of work to have 'cheesy dreams'.If you work on the lower end of the production line, you see a fresh pack of sliced cheese every 3.5 seconds for 8 hours a day.....you just cant shake it.....some people have been known to operate machines in their sleep,or call out product change codes!

I got you all on this one...
![]() For 3.5 years, I've had the SAME song stuck in my head. That's right, I said 3.5 years! I don't even remember what the name of the damn song is, but it's a christmas carol, and at the very least once a week, I will just start whistling/humming it, and for the rest of the day, I'm pretty much screwed. It also sucks, cuz it'll be the middle of summer, and everyone gives me strange looks when I bust out with a christmas song. Okay, I just found the song on yahoo, it's called "sleigh ride". Anyways, I also get other strange things stuck in my head. I remember for about a week, I had the name "Hillary Rodham Clinton" stuck in there. Also, instead of cheesy dreams, I used to have circuit dreams... I used to solder milspec circuit boards using a microscope for 8 to 10 hours a day... So when I went to bed, I'd close my eyes, and see circuit traces and components... ugh. Now, all I see when I go to bed is AF threads hehehe

I always get lyrics to songs stuck in my head. Usually ones that I can’t stand and can only remember one line to (mostly because they only have one line!
).

Well I remember getting the song by Jewel 'Standing still' stuck in my head, because the Asian guy who sits next to me in Chemistry kept singing the first line of the verse over and over and over.......... Although I really like the song, Incubus' "are you in?" is stuck there as is "Sing the night away" by Steriogram........ |

"Thousand Miles", although the name of the artist escapes me. I only know two lines from the chorus and words from the opening. That's it. It'll drive me insane when I'm driving to work in a good mood (Yes, I'm a closet car singer).
Anyway, beyond that, I've only had a theme song from "28 Days" stuck in my head before. That movie has become 'the movie' for my friend Megan and I. I think we've watched it like 12 times together in the past two academic years.
