How Do You Guys Feel About...

The layout of the [hatdown] parished (sp?) Camaro [/hatdown]? I heard a lot of people really hated the doors, "saying the were to big for "tight" spots to park in" or " you couldn't even see over the hood, what the hell?"

To me, I loved the Camaro, and am going to get the last 35th Anniversity one in a Z, along with a 2001 WS6 pretty soon. I love the F-Body and very sad for it to go....so what are your thoughts guys'?

I for one will miss it terribly. I love the Fbodies, and will now have to hear the crap from the Ford boys about the car dying, and how bad ass the new Mustangs are gonna be. More headaches to be had in the future....

You're pretty new here, you just didn't know that the Camaro/Chevy forums are slow, if not snail paced. Hardly anyone posts on them. I think the busiest forum is the Honda one, there are so many post whores over there.

whores huh?? Well, your right. If more people on the import forums would keep there posts on topic there would be about half as many posts in there. Speaking of off topic........ woops

So when you say "late" camaro, what do you mean? There gonna stop making the camaro, or there just changing the style?

No more camaro/firebird. This is the last year of production.....for a while anyway. They'll bring it back. Of course they'll probably screw it up in the process.

If their top of the line F-body comes back at any point, and is out performed by previous versions, no one will get it, regardless of what platform it is (it better be rear wheel drive). Chevy better realize this, or they may have a flop like they did with the Nova when they sold it in Mexico (in Spanish, "no va" means "it doesn't go", quite the marketing oversight).

you know what the real problem is don't you? it is all those damn imports. If all those shitty rice burners weren't taking over the american market than there would still be enough demand for the camaro to keep it going. But with all this jap crap not enough people want them. I wish everyone could feel the big block power of a camaro because if they did they would leave all that jap shit in a heart beat

Obviously, I loved the F-Body platform.
I own the 2001 WS6 pictured below and I'm sad to see it go.
I'm interested, however, by what lies ahead. I know the GTO is coming back, and it's going to kick ass as Pontiac's new "Flagship" vehicle.
I'm sure Chevy won't keep the Camaro, or a similar car away for long, and it's sure to be back eventually to smack those Stangs back into place!

About the doors...If you own a car as nice as a Camaro/Trans Am, why the FUCK would you WANT to park in a "tight spot" ?? I park my car as far away from others as possible!

okay first thing is I love the f-body line. They already have a proto type of the camaro for 2005. it is designed after the first gens. I think they are just trying to make the car popular again. so they staop making it for a couple of years. then here it comes again.

and if you drive a mero your take 2 lanes and accept the ticket couse aint no one need to bang my doors.

This blows...

They are shutting down the Factory in Canada that thes cars are made in. So its not coming back until they dedicate a new factory. Still sucks, Ive finally been able to buy one, and now there going out. That sucks. Any ways, they have to bring it back, you know they will.
