haha, I had the idea so long ago...you just found the right paint, first! Im gonna do all my accents in light grey or medium grey.

As for that black area between my bumpers it just came looking like that and I just keep the car clean

i used flat white krylon interior/exterior paint and clear krylon paint for the whole dash, its really strong but if it chips it wont sand out smooth you just gotta paint over it and it kinda leaves a small unnoticable indent...As with all custom work u gotta be careful

How did you paint the entire dashboard?? Did you take it out or leave it in the car and tape it off?

SkyNex721: Everything im painting I take out and do it in my garage, I thought about taping it off but in the end its much better to take it out!

civicHBsi91: My hood was rusting so it needed a respray badly when I got the car, for $170 the guy did my hood and mirrors...I was stupid not to ask him to do the black rubber trim around the car aswell

ahhh those pic's of the dash bring back memories .. ERRR
the long hours both me and leigh spent on those damn things.
If anyone is going to take out the dash, be prepaired to get cut-up hands, BAD sunburn.. (took me 3 hours in +35 weather), and you will probably be ready to rip the damn thing out halfway through the job.

hah just a heads up
all in all it's well worth it.
Dont you agree leigh???

lol oh yes the memories, that thing pissed the hell out of me...Especially that soft padding you hafta rip away along the top near the window, I was about ready to give up and gave it one last rip and thankfully it came out, at the expense of cracking part of the dash but it was well worth it! Tonight and tommorow im just finishing the grey/white vents and finishing whats left of the dash so I can start the pillars. its so sweet doing custom work as a DIY
