1998 Silverado 5.7L Fuel Metering Body

My first time posting here. I have learned a ton from this site. I am in the midst of repairing the infamous intake coolant leak. 1998 K1500 with 5.7L. I have everything loose and ready to pull the upper and lower intakes together. Having difficulty removing the electrical connection on the top of the fuel metering body. Is there a trick or tool needed to get this off? U removed the little plastic lock etc. Any instructions/info I read simply says to disconnect like there is nothing to it. The last thing I need at this point is to damage the wiring or the fuel body.

Thanks,
Mark B.
