So what's in store for a Stage 3 Mopar kit on an SRT4?
I work at a Dodge dealership and one of the jobs we got were to install the entire Stage 3 turbo kit. I was just wondering about how long you should expect to spend on this?
I'm asking here just because this isn't exactly a common procedure in a dealership. I was thinking about 20-25hrs of labor? I'm not 100% sure if the following things are in the Stage 3 kit or not, so I'll let you know these are also going on: new clutch/flywheel short throw shifter Turbo Toys boost controller HKS BOV And I think there are a few other odds and ends. Any input is appreciated

stage3 w/o toys - 8-10 hrs
stage3 w/ toys - 12-14 hrs flywheel/clutch combo - 3-4hrs short throw - .5 hrs turbo toys boost controller - see above hks BOV with kit - 1 hour (as long as you install the block off plate on the stg 3 turbo before installing it) |

Re: So what's in store for a Stage 3 Mopar kit on an SRT4?
Thanks for the help!
So far we've got the old turbo/manifolds out, the short throw in, the fuel rails installed, and parts everywhere Tomorrow hopefully it will be running. There is already an HKS BOV installed on the semi-flexible tubing and is aimed at the bottom of the car. On the new turbo there is a BOV on there as well... should the block-off-plate be transferred over? And/or should the new BOV be put in place of the old one?

Re: So what's in store for a Stage 3 Mopar kit on an SRT4?
you will need to replace the factory surge valve (bov on turbo) with a block off plate. you can get one from www.agpturbo.com. install that onto the turbo (if you dont have the block off plate, you can install teh factory surge valve, just dont hook up the vacume line). throw the turbo into the car and call it a day

Re: So what's in store for a Stage 3 Mopar kit on an SRT4?
Thanks for the help guys, thought I'd let you all know we fired it up today
It sounded pretty damn good and that wastegate/BOV is deafening Anyways everything works good except for the Turbo Toys thing, the intercooler sprayer won't spray. I've noticed that on the replacement PCM, there are 4 ports, whereas there were 3 stock. Also there is another "blank" connector that I'm guessing should probably go into that port. In the instructions there is NO mention of this 4th connector or any other wiring. I need to know what you guys did. Did you just forget about it, but how did you get the intercooler sprayer to work? Just so you know the lights and all come on inside(the blue and red lights).

Update: the project is done, turned out to be a wire pulled out of the new fuse "clip" because it was yanked by the weatherstripping.
The jets spray and all works well. Runs pretty darn fast too
