2001 Montana warm start problem

I have a problem with restart of a warm engine. If needle goes to half way point on temperature gauge and you shut down car it won't restart until engine cools down for aproximately 15 mins.. Been to the dealer twice and corner mechanic with no luck. No code for no start.
Any guesses?

Two things, check the fuel pressure regulator by checking the fuel pressure. If it is bad it will cause the pressure to be too low and the vehicle will not start. Sometimes happens when the regulator develops a small leak. The crank position sensor can also cause this type of problem especially when the car is warm. Fuel pressure regulator first then the CPS.

I would also guess it is the fuel pressure reg. Test is with a fuel pressure gauge to tell forsure.
