No start!
I have searched the forums and didnt really find anything that sounded the same but if someone has a link send it this way.
I am looking into buying myself another mustang. The one that i am looking at is currently a no start (wants 600 obo) Its an 89 2.3 L manual coupe. When you turn the key over the thing turns over and seems to do it pretty strong, the only thing is it never fires up. At first i thought mabey a starter problem.. but if it was the starter the thing wouldnt crank over. My next guess would be something in the plugwires/cap/rotor or the coil. If anyone could help with any info that would be great i dont really feel liek payin 200 to get it towed down the highway to my house and it seems like it should be an easy fix. |

Re: No start!
Do a compression check.
Check for spark Check for fuel Check for air Check to see if the valves are opening and closing when they should (bad timing belt or chain) |

Re: No start!
thanks for the advice! The guy said that he had been driving it regularly and then one day it just stoped starting. I figure i might low ball him 4/500 because im going to have to get it towed like 80 kmh.
